District Development Plan

Goodwin University Magnet School System (GUMSS) implements a district development plan, as well as development plans for each of its schools, to improve, evaluate, and advance its commitment to providing enriching learning environments and successful outcomes for all of its scholars. While the plans establish three-year goals and objectives, they are assessed periodically to ensure that process goals and student learning goals are being met across the five major areas: teaching and learning, engagement, partnerships, resources, and innovation.

The 2025-2028 District Development Plan and respective school development plans were developed in collaboration with school administrators, educators, staff members, and the family members of scholars so to include the insights and perspectives from the entire GUMSS community. The plans, as linked below, were presented to the Goodwin University Magnet School (GUMS) Board of Directors on June 18, 2025.
